Toonify is a pioneering set of AI-powered tools dedicated to face transformation, created by Justin Pinkney and Doron Adler. It leverages advanced deep learning technologies, specifically a complex combination of StyleGAN2, resolution-dependent model interpolation, and pixel2style2pixel, to reimagine your face in various artistic styles. By simply uploading a photo, users can see what they would look like as a character in a CGI movie, a hand-drawn caricature, a comic book hero, or even an emoji.
The platform gained significant attention for its ability to produce high-quality, stylized portraits that capture the essence of the original face while translating it into a completely new medium. However, the creators have noted that the face transformation model is now considered old and outdated, with better alternatives available elsewhere. As a result, the service is slated for discontinuation in the future, and new license purchases have been halted. Existing license keys will remain functional through at least the end of 2025.

- Adjust and Fine-Tune (HD Models): If you are using an HD model with a valid license, you can use the provided slider controls to edit various features. These controls allow you to adjust attributes like age, smile, anger, masculinity, and even add or remove glasses or enlarge the eyes to achieve your desired look.
- Download Your Result: Once the AI has processed your image, the transformed version will be displayed. You can then view and save your new cartoon-style portrait.
