Our service uses YouTube's public API to extract and process video subtitles. Simply paste the YouTube video URL, select your preferred language, and get accurate transcriptions within seconds. We support both auto-generated captions and manual subtitles. If a video has auto-generated captions enabled by the creator, we can extract those. If no captions are available at all, we unfortunately cannot provide transcription for that video. In such cases, you can download the video and upload it as a local file for transcription.

We support all languages available through YouTube's caption system. This includes major languages like English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, and many more. The availability of languages depends on the video's original captions or auto-generated subtitles.

No, there is no limit on video length for YouTube videos. You can transcribe videos of any duration. However, for very long videos, the processing time might be slightly longer.

For local files, you can upload audio or video files directly to our platform. We support formats like MP3, MP4, WAV, M4A, MOV, and more. Our AI-powered transcription engine processes your files and generates accurate text with timestamps. Files are automatically converted and processed securely.

We support 98+ languages for both YouTube videos and local files. This includes major languages like English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, French, German, and many more. Our AI can automatically detect the language or you can specify it manually.

For local files, we currently support files up to 2 GB in size and up to 10 hours in duration for both audio and video. However, for very large files, the upload process may take significantly longer and could potentially fail due to network timeouts or connection issues. For optimal performance and reliability, we strongly recommend splitting large files into smaller segments (under 500MB or 2 hours) before uploading.

Yes, we offer both free and premium plans. The free plan allows you to transcribe 10 YouTube videos (without any duration limit) or 30 minutes of local files per month. Premium plans allow you to transcribe more videos and files with more features and faster processing per month.

Our AI-powered transcription achieves 99% accuracy for clear audio, powered by OpenAI Whisper. For YouTube videos, accuracy depends on the source subtitles. For local files, accuracy varies based on audio quality, speaker clarity, background noise, and audio format. We recommend using high-quality audio files for best results.

Yes, you can download transcriptions in multiple formats including SRT, VTT, TXT, CSV, PDF, DOCX, and more. Premium users have access to additional export formats and customization options.

Most files are transcribed within one minute. For a 1-hour audio or video file, you can typically expect results in under 1 or 2 minutes, depending on server load and file quality. YouTube videos are processed almost instantly.

For YouTube videos, we don't store any video content - we only process subtitle data through YouTube's API. For local files, we temporarily store your original files during processing and automatically delete them after transcription is complete. We store an extracted audio file for your reference later, and you can delete this record history anytime. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS and at rest using AES-256 encryption. Your data is never shared with third parties and is automatically deleted after a set retention period.

For YouTube content, usage rights depend on the original video's license. For your own uploaded files, you retain full rights to the transcriptions. We recommend checking the original content's license for commercial use guidelines.

Our system can handle files with multiple speakers. For best results, ensure each speaker's voice is clear and distinct. Speaker diarization (labeling) is available for select languages and premium users.

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), as well as PayPal and Apple Pay. For enterprise customers, wire transfers are also accepted. All payments are processed securely by trusted third-party payment providers.

We offer 10 free credits every month, so you can fully explore and experience all our features before making a purchase. Because of this generous free trial, we generally do not offer refunds once a subscription is started. You can cancel your subscription at any time.

Credits are consumed for each transcript generation or API call. Currently, one credit is consumed per transcript generation, regardless of YouTube video length. Similarly, each API call consumes one credit. For local files, the free plan consumes 1 credit per 3 minutes. In the future, the credit consumption model may be adjusted based on video length, with changes discussed with subscribers before implementation.

You can continue using your free monthly quota, or purchase additional credits. We'll notify you when your credits are running low.

Yes, you can change your plan at any time. When upgrading, you'll be charged the prorated difference. When downgrading, your new rate will take effect in the next billing cycle.

One-time plans are for users who don't want monthly subscriptions. You pay once and get credits that are valid for 1 year from the purchase date. Credits can be used for both YouTube videos and local file transcriptions. There are no recurring charges or commitments.

If your credits expire after 1 year, you can purchase a new one-time plan or switch to a monthly/annual subscription. We'll notify you before your credits expire so you can decide how to proceed.
